Our History

Professional Whey began with our founder, Stephen Morris in 2005. He had spent the previous 10 years as a qualified personal trainer and diet & weight management expert, often recommending protein powders to clients to help them increase their protein intake. However all the protein powders that the high street stores seemed to offer were all artificially flavoured and artificially sweetened and very expensive.

With a desire to offer clients and consumers a much healthier alternative at much better prices, he launched Professional Whey back in 2006 on eBay, selling pure whey protein powder without any flavours or sweeteners.

Since 2006 Professional Whey has grown from an eBay store to a popular online brand which provides an awesome approach to buying high quality sports nutrition, that genuinely work, at affordable prices. Whilst sports nutrition is at the heart of Professional Whey we have grown more passionate about organic wholefoods and organic ingredients which can easily replace or enhance your supplementation.
