Our Calcium Caseinate is derived from fresh Australian skim milk & is extracted from casein through acidification. Calcium Caseinate is a very slow digesting protein that is very high in L-Glutamine and therefore has been shown to have anti-catabolic properties. This makes it a perfect protein to consume before going to sleep at night or mixing with whey to slow down its release. The facts are:

• 95% Undenatured Protein containing casein microfractions such as 38% Alpha S1, 10% Alpha S2,  36% Beta, 12% Kappa and 4% Minor Casein 
• Slow Absorption of amino acids into the bloodstream for up to 6-7 hours
• High Protein providing 95g per 100g on a dry basis
• Pure, untouched with no fillers, preservatives or flavourings
• Low Fat at 1.5%

Note: Calcium Caseinate is a lot thicker and a little harder to dissolve than our Micellar Casein MPI. It also has a chalkier mouth feel. Therefore you may need to use a blender to dissolve Calcium Caseinate.
