Sourced from Grass Fed Dairy Cows which live on Australian Pastures, our WPC is a Soy Free Whey Protein Concentrate. It is our most affordable all round protein powder and can be enjoyed at any time of day, including as part of pre and post training nutrition.
Made from fresh cheese whey, it is processed through low temperature ultra-filtration in order to provide a high level of undenatured proteins. The result is a versatile protein powder that provides over 82 g of protein per 100 g (dry basis, natural flavour), with 5.1 g fat and minimal carbohydrates.
The facts are:
- Ultrafiltration at low temperatures is used to maintain undenatured protein fractions
- Contains naturally occurring whey microfractions such as 40.6% Beta-Lactoglobulin, 17.8% Glycomacropeptide, 8.3% Alpha-lactalbumin, 2.1% Immunoglobulin G, 2% Serum Albumin and small amounts of Lactoferrin & Lactoperoxidase
- From Pasture Fed Cows raised on natural grass and clover pastures
- Free from Antibiotics & Genetically Engineered Recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone (rBGH)
- Free from acid processing
- Naturally Rich in BCAAs (Branched Chain Amino Acids) and Essential Amino Acids
- High Protein at 82.7g per 100g on a dry matter basis (Natural Flavour)

Protein powder that doesn’t taste weird

Also I hate the taste of flavoured powders- they taste fake and leave an aftertaste. I have been using your powder in my overnight oats and smoothies and it doesn’t alter the flavour of them. Keeps me full for ages too.

Top quality in all respects

Healthiest protein I could find!

Best Tasting Whey

By: Neil on 18 September 2025I've been using Professional Whey protein for over 15 years now. For me a product that is sourced from Australian cows is all natural and no fillers is just the start. The "natural flavour" mixes easily and doesn't affect the taste of berries and fruit if I mix a poste workout smoothie or if I'm in a rush and throw it in a shaker with a bit of sugar free drinking chocolate. Lately I've been adding to greek yoghurt, berries and a bit of low carb granola or even with some oats to boost the protein content of breakfast. It's price compared to other protein powders makes it amazing value. A great product.

There are so many on the market which makes it really confusing. I didn't want a powder that was made from pea protein or was full of fillers. And many of the pure whey powders are incredibly expensive. Australian whey Protein Concentrate has so many good things going for it: it's 100% whey powder concentrate from pasture fed cows, which means it's not full of fillers or other toxic ingredients, it's an Australian company, and it's affordable. Even with shipping costs, it beats many of the other brands in terms of costs. It also tastes really good - I use it everyday to increase my protein intake. I make a power smoothie in the morning with raw milk, eggs, yogurt, and protein powder. It's absolutely delicious! Thanks guys for this wonderful product.

Versatile, delicious, grass-fed!

I've bought at least 10 bags now and it's a great product! I love that it's from grass fed milk, it allows you to add it to anything. I've put it in whipped cream for high protein chocolate mousse, mixed in yoghurt with fruit, obviously with milk and water for shakes, but I even added into a pasta sauce once! Sure it is a bit bubbly in liquid, I think because it has no lecithin or something, but I'd rather no extra ingredients. Will keep buying forever! Thanks!

Whey TOO Good

So creamy, it makes a delight to drink and with no chemical sweeteners or other things in there is no metallic aftertaste I find so annoying in other products. I drink this every day for breakfast, for YEARS. Decades? As long as ProfessionalWhey has been around, anyway. Cows in Oz don't eat poison like some countries (e.g corn, in USA, which cows are not meant to eat, ever) and this is good product, pure from source to shaker. Most commercial products are an inferior base + crud you don't need + price you should not pay. Been in this game over 40 years now (what the?) and I trust this one. At this age, trust and consistency is what matters. Convenience and not having to think too much.

It mixes well (I shake it up with almond milk) and it is easy and pleasant to drink. I have noticed an improvement in muscle recovery following exercise. Muscle endurance also seems to have improved.
